sometimes better than new as all the recall work can be on the donk and you have to oportunity to sort out the imperfections left by the casting methods and shave the tolerances right back...

Takes time and effort but I believe you should build a motor as tho it was going in your own car.

jeez Belly sorry to hear of your motor woes..but keeping it a TD5 is a good option ......but a 4.6lt v8 woulda been cool:D:D

Thanks, I guess it is only a matter of time until I need to make the decision, hopefully a long time!!

The challenge must be finding someone both skilled enough and motivated enough to do it with that level of care.
