Later Td5 Defender 130 different diff ratio??.

Was coming up the freeway today in the missus subaru liberty, cruising at about 120ks, when what went roaring past?, a nice looking td5 well back 130 ute. The diff ratio must be different in the later ones??. I know for sure my 130 tdi would have been ready to go into orbit going at this blokes pace

When bringing the Pajero back from Newcastle on the trailer we discovered that with the failing torque converter my rig ran happier at the upper speeds. Upset a few Yota's when we passed them on the freeway with car trailer and paj and the rig wasn't ever straining.
Now the torque converter has been done it tows and more normal speeds.
