Wanted 4BD1 and box to suit and any ancilaries

I need a 4BD1 and Gearbox and ancilaries to fit in my Fender sooner rather than later as My current turbo has just started the bell ringing noises don't want to fit a bigger turbo as it won't make enough difference to push my 130 dual cab and tow any decent weight.

Only other alturnative is if someone is mates with an engineer on the north side of brisbane that they would recomend and I fit the Later 4HE1-T and gearbox to my LT230.

Any help in getting one cheap enough so that my main mode of transport isn't off the road long.

note: Will be fitting engine myself

The 4HE1-XS is a great motor, but AFAIK is overhead cam and so may be too tall. Maybe find a truck wrecker who has one and measure it up.

    Do you have the measurements?

Look around for cheap stage 1 diesels??? or go to damaged truck auctions, and or ring around all the wreckers. A mate bought a 4BD1T for just under 4k from a melbourne truck wreckers.
