    Question brake booster issues!!

I know the brakes are not the best out there on an old series landy. So i'm going to fit a brake booster to my series 2a (series3 firewall) .I guess my question is there any other booster i can fit to the landy as a cheaper option than buying the series 3 booster ?

I think somebody mentioned that a holden one would fit, but I don't recall which one.

A pbr unit off an early holden or Valiant model i think is VH44. These were really common fitments on eh-hr holdens.

    G'day Wannalandy

The quickest way and possibly the cheapest is to get a complete Brake pedal box assy with booster from a Series 3, just undo the 6 bolts that hold the assy in (under the dash by the pedal) lift 1/4 turn and you have the complete assy, BUT you will need the R/Hand guard, as it has the cut-a-way to accept the booster when in position, then you just connect it up to the Manifold, that gives you the possibility to have Duel Circuit Brakes, if so take the duel lines and the splitter union from off the chassis if the Master Cylinder is a single it is the same as the 2a LWB

Your other option is to fit a PBR brand VH-44 remote booster, as used on Holden, Valiant, and some English vehicles from the 60's PBR still do service kits for them.

    cheers
