New member on the look out for a Disco II TD5. l am after something with around 150-200k's on the clock. Apart from the issues which l have read about, is there any pro's/con's concerning manual or auto? l have always liked manuals, but is there advantages of the auto with the TD5. It will tow an old Haines Hunter 600C (just over 2t of boat).

Suspension; is the air suspension on these the same as the EAS on Rangies? If so, are they cursed like their predecessors? l have a 94 Vogue SE with EAS and (remarkably!) have had no probs at all with it, it does come in very handy with the boat as well.

Any feedback appreciated. If you know of anyone selling a D2 TD5, please let me know. If you are on the lookout for a 94 Vogue SE softdash dual fuel, l have a very honest car which l will advertise here as well. l'm in Port Stephens, NSW.
