Just thought l would share this with you guys.

When l decided to relocate the ignition module on my 94 RR, l decided to try swapping the original module for a Holden four pin job (about $25).

Whilst there is an impedence mismatch between the pick up coil and the module, the unit (which l mounted on a heat sink just below the air box intake that l removed the horn from) has fired reliably for the last two years. Maybe a cheaper alternative to OEM modules...

On another note, after jacking the chasis of the Rangie up a little to high the other day, l had to make a trip to the Land Rover bloke for him to reset a height sensor out of range fault.

What he forgot to do was to plug back in the ground plug into the the serial comms cable (diagnostic lead). This made the EAS go into a soft fault mode, but only the dash light came on and not the christmas tree lights on the height switches....whilst l was looking about l noticed the ground plug on the engine ECU wasnt plugged in either! However, this seemed to make little difference to engine running.

Happy days.........what a cute little Banana
