Hmmm. Work computer opens with Microsoft Office Document Imaging - looks pretty much like a PDF document.
Alrighty - looks like if you have windows (XP or later, I hope) you can right-click the downloaded file and select "open with" and chose another program to open with. Use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

[QUOTE=scrambler;590529]What is it opening in, Brian?
The heading says Corel Photo Pal
-
NM - post it up on the file page, there's no limit. the original is 2.83MB zipped, so I'm not surprised the PDF runs to 3MB.
Brian - if you try the right click and chose to "open with" another program (as above) you should fare better.
But once NM posts the PDF everyone should be happy.
And thanks again, Brian, a very interesting book. Should have it rebound today (the clip fell apart :o) and heading back to you tomorrow.

Ok, I downloaded it and saved to "My Documents". I get a little buff coloured file card with a zip on it. All the others are white and blue with a little square tag and a "W" in the top LH corner. I right click and Open with Windows picture and fax viewer and get a blank white screen with small print "No preview available" in the middle.

download irfanview it is freeware and does multipage tif just fine.

Almost there, Brian :)
Next time, double-click on the buff file card with the zip and it will open the compressed folder, revealing some other icon indicating a graphics file. Do the right click thingy on that and you should be cooking.

Doesn't work. Either way I can only get the front cover. I am now getting the front cover in Windows viewer but the slide show arrows don't produce any more pages. I think I will give up.
-
page up/page down doesn't work to change page?
I spent over half an hour flicking through it yesterday, looks very good (also the annotations), so thanks guys for making it available! :)

Sorry it's not working well for you, Brian. Hopefully Numpty's Missus can post up her PDF on the file page (please NM ) and THAT might work a little more smoothly.
If you do decide to have another look, it's not the slideshow buttons but some otherwise hidden ones that appear right in the middle at the bottom. There's a page number and some icons either side representing pages with little green arrows in them.

NM, dont load it here, load it to the files section :o
I uploaded the file you downloaded - 2.83MB. It's the same process as attaching a document to a post, so not too complicated.
