Not passing judgement on others, though I have the Redarc one which I'm happy with.

I have the engine saver one too - cheap, and a simple fit on a 300TDi. Showed how sensitive it was when it kept triggering with what must have been air in the system after a coolant change, so I know it works.![]()

I just fitted Engine Savers to both SIII and Defender. Really good value and they work on the KISS principle. Highly recommended by me.
Ray,, 3 out of 4 posts already use the "Engine Saver" alarm, why not support a sponsor of the site.
BTW I also have the same alarm on my 300Tdi, and am very impressed...![]()
I've advertised under Vehicle Accessories, as a non profit service to AULRO members.
I use the black box as it covers more than one thing plan on getting one for the partners nissan pulsar as it is now out of warranty
