    Cracked Spring Mounts

Well I put the hex on myself...

Was rebushing Lara today and figured I'd check all the bolts etc for a cracking noise under brakes....

I thought I knew what I would find and I was right!

But then I got a bonus!

Both front Upper Spring mounts have a 2 1/2" crack in them...

Complete through... Not just a hairline...

Starts at front of mount, edge facing outwards...
Through the bolt hole for the shock tower, then past that and off around the inside of the mount where the coil rests...

Looks like its strip down, grind and into it with the welder....

I guess I got the front airborne once to often....

If I was politically correct, I would say the vehicles had been driven in a harsh enviroment by Indigenous Australians...

Given that I am not politically correct, but I don't want to offend the more sensitive amongst us, you will have to translate as you see fit
