    Angry Disco 2 glow plugs

I had trouble on a drive into Abercrombie River NP on the apec weekend, the Disco over heated for no apparent reason and the CDL wouldn't engage along with rough idle when first starting the car, it would only do this for a few seconds but it needed to be looked at.

This morning i had the car checked and the CDL sensor on the transfer case was buggered, the test on the cooling system turned up AOK BUT ALL 4 GLOW PLUGS WERE STUFFED, apparently this is common on TD5s

    So all is good again

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

Yeah me too, the over heating bit worried me the most must have been an air pocket in the system.

There was a thread on here some time back. Some electronic devices at shops disable D2's electronics.

Our D2 has failed to fire three times since we have owned it. Just cranked and nothing fired.

Last time we took the key out of the ignition and it reset something then retried and it fired first go.

    My symtons exactly

Maybe a check of your glow plugs is in order, it is apparently common for TD5s.
