    TD5 owner in Darwin

    Hi all

    99 Disco TD5 Auto

    I am looking for another TD5 owner in Darwin for whom I could try their MAF on my vehilce to determin if that is the source of the problem I am experiencing.

    I don't mind buying one if I am sure that it is the cause of my surging and powerloss problem.

    Diagnostics (e.g.Rovacom... or Darwin Mitsu) will tell you if the MAF unit is transmitting. Don't know if anyone in Darwin has Rovacom though.

    Darwin Mitsub tested but could not find any fault related to my issue but you can see where oil is leaking out of harness

    thats your problem then... do a search on here about it... you can get away with just replacing the internal harness and flushing out with meths or something similar the main harness.. and making sure the plugs are nice and clean.

    make sure you add a few mods to the new internal harness also as detailed on a few posts... theres info all over here regarding this problem! its got to the point where its not far off a service item!
