What Rims Will Fit
Hi,
I have just purchased a 1995 Defender 300TDi & it has 15" Sunraysias on it. Will the smaller rims cause any problems & does 16" rims off any other make (Toyota, Nissan etc.) fit & if so what model? Does anyone know the operating coolant temperature & oil pressure for this model & has anybody fitted aftermarket gauges to this engine & where is the connection points on the motor so I can keep the original gauges?

Land Rover has an odd (but very cool) wheel stud pattern.
It is a 5x6.5" bolt circle and the Landy is the only vehicle (I know of) that uses it.. That said any whell from any coil sprung Land Rover will fit, up till the Discovery 2 and the P38 Range Rover that is..
Range Rover Classics, Disco Series one and up to current Defender wheels will fit.. If you find a Series (leaf sprung) truck that has rims that will clear the Disc brakes you'd have another option but I doubt you'd like the backspacing.
Most if not all later Land Rover factory rims are 16" and a pretty nice (read strong) rim.. Heck we nearly give them away over here.. 15" is pretty unusual for a 1995..

I'd fork out for a low coolant sensor before a temp gauge personally, best thing you can buy!
