If its using the 230 as std the Handbrake should be fine... the Tranny length is the hard part i guess as the LT230 will have to be moved back..

Mmmm, now you've planted a seed of doubt, I've only ever wrecked 1 RR with an LT85, had a V8 110 county driveline, but that was one of my first RR wrecks, nearly 6 years ago

Pretty sure the lt 230 was still fitted to the original mountin holes, different mount one side obviously as it originally had an LT95, but nothing untowards??

Then again it was a long time ago and ALOT of RR's ago

I saw a County converted not so long ago, the bloke did a really nice job of it too. Id be interested in this. If you go ahead will you put a build diary on here so we can see how you did it? I think this would be an interesting build diary.

Some professional mob here in Melb has done one at least, as a bloke was around at our place last year buying something we sold on ebay, saw my County and told me how he just sold his which was converted to Auto. We talked a bit about the conversion.
If I told you what he sold it for you may think I am saying its silly doing it. I'm not, but don't expect to add to the Countys value by converting. I reckon if I did mine to auto we could sell the Disco and just have the one 4wd. The missus can drive the County, she used to have a manual Rangie, but whinges about the clutch. Fair enough too.

Its not about adding Value, its about making it what my Wife wants.... no differnet to putting lockers in... you do it for reasons only you know
