I hate to admit this but I am a fridgy have been for 27 years and the A/C in my disco is the bane of my life.

When I was teaching auto air at tech I used to use mine for the 3rd year students as a test to see if they could fix it - still works weirdly

another problem may be that the fan assembly has come loose from the rest of the frame so not all of the air is pushed through like it is supposed to. this will also reduce the air flow out of the vents.

so let me get this right, you have to turn upside down and put your head where the feet usually go to get a look at the "flaps", its a touchy feely job too

remind you of anything else ?

    Ok all
I cracked a wobbly with mine and tried to kick it off - that didnt work either so, as I have a couple of days at home doing paper work I will have a go at disassembling it so that the coil can be accessed to clean it then reassemble it. Once I have successfully done it I will explain it on here - with photos if I can so that you all can see what to do.

The dirty coil is also more than likely one of the biggest problems with reduced air flow, which will include water dripping into the foot well and rottin gout the floor. I have replaced both floor panels in the front of mine.

Also with the fan assembly removed the fans can also be cleaned which will improve air flow as well

    Cheers Blythe

    Ok, ok, ok.

After finding a diagram on a more recent post, I lowered the fuse cover and had a look at the cable. I reckon i got another 2-3mm of cabble sheath through the clamp whcih is promising. I may not know for sure until hotter weather later in the week.

On the driver's side at least, it is quite straight forward to adjust. Good thing I am always the driver.

    Cheers
