Thread: Front Output shaft seal LT95

Hi Guys,

I tried to fit a front output shaft oil seal today to no avail. I've not done one before and did not want to force it as it seemed very tight and would not fit into the recess.

Are there any tips on fitting these seals? .. I had a search around and could not find any info on fitting them ..

One thing I found out though, when I searched the part number (FTC4939) it is listed on a few parts sites as a LT230 front shaft seal ...

Does anyone know if the seals are interchangable and its just me not fitting it right or maybe the spare parts guy has accidently given me the wrong seal?

Heheh to answer my own post.. ........

Yep, I was given the wrong seal... and they are slightly different. The new correct seal went in without a problen and all is good...
