by drilling the front bulk outrigger, will these weaken the structure? or any other unforeseen problem??

i looked at making plates up and running them down the side of the outriggers....i took the easy option although may not be as tough as the ones in the link
i'm sure clarkie would have given his a good work out so i'm guessing they should do the job for me, i don't do to much bash and crash stuff
mine will eventually have some bar welded on as tree fenders so they are more like side steps to help the kids in and out of the rig
why the hell would you go to all the trouble of making them like the ECR ones???
the front mount for any 90/110 slider is just a piece of (i use) 50 x 50 x 5 angle welded to the box section that forms the slider. at the other end (for a 90) a piece of pipe slides into the other outrigger and is welded to the slider.
as easy as that!

the bolt used is already there its long enough to use for the slider bracket.

once the pipe is bent and in the out rigger. drill a hole or two through the lot and bolt it. it wont move.

are the side bars HI-Lift jackable? I mean will it be strong
enough to hold the force from bottom up
