    front seal

My mate fought with Land Rover RSA for almost 2 years and eventually after even removing the ceiling panels etc. they traced the leak to the front seal between the top of the window frame and the roof where it was re-sealed with that white type of sikaflex. It ran from there into the channel and down onto the passenger.
    Maybe you have something similar.

A mate of mine had exactly the same problem with a new 2002 110 Extreme, they sent it off to have the roof removed and resealed then they filled the rain gutters with sikaflex, after 12 months of still having major water ingress he complained so much that LR Oz gave him a brand new 2003 110 which he swapped for an older toyota troopy 5 months later. His old car was back on the lot the next day even though it had other major faults.

    Don't worry about it.

I thought I had my S3 tricked. Builders flashing tape over all the windscreen frames, roof seals, the lot. Nah.
Seal a Land Rover? It can't be done.
The "Deefer" is a Series body on a Rangie chasis.
You can't seal it, how would the water get back out?

I have a 1972 SWB SIII and a 1996 Defender 110. When it rains the drips go exactly into your right boot/ shoe in both vehicles. I must have shares in Sikaflex by now. I always hum the Crowded House song 'Take the Weather With You' to new passengers.

I thought all Land Rover drivers hummed happy tunes.

Even when they don't work, they're fun to play with.
