		If you check the power to the unit and it checks out as okay then pull the unit out as it is probably dry joints on the circuit board. Very common on the output ICs of car radios and sometimes the main power/speaker socket.
 
Some models you can just remove a bottom cover that will expose the underside of the circuit board whereas others will require dismantling of the unit (not terribly difficult).

to check if its the power....connect an LED to the power wire for the deck......and run the LED to the dash some where easy to see......
then when your head unit cuts out.....if the LED is still lit up.....then the problem is in the head unit......
if the LED goes out the same time as the head unit.....then its a power problem to the head unit....
