Oh, ok then, I'm learning this as I go. So that will mean no airbags = no SLS?

    no SLS.

the ACE may or may not make noises,,
I know mines there, but it doesnt increase in noise at all while driving,
from what i read, there were a few replaced under warranty
due to the noise alone and a few more that just plain fail each year.

It is only the people that dont have ACE that say bad things about it.

Other than an adjustable extra 1-2 inches to increase the departure angle and helping with towing, would I miss it?

Can I retro fit SLS? or just upgrade the rear suspension?

    Thats funny Shane,,
all I ever hear around this place is people wanting to dum cars down---

I suppose its possible,, lots of bits to add though,,

The rides better on road, it will adjust to
different loads in the car and on the towbar, they are probably more supceptable to damage off road,, but work as good as coils,, and yes you can get ones with better travel.

I've got more funny (read dumb) questions. Missus wanted to know if is possible to add just 1 of the 3rd row seats to a 5 seater, so that we can install a fridge in the other half?

    I better get to work

    physically yes,
    legally and morally??

    probably not.

not sure I'd want a fridge inside the human compartment,

and as all 7 seaters came with different suspension,, dunno,,

    anyone??

I have heard of people installing the extra seats into 5 seaters i dont think it would really matter if you only put in one, but no doubt you would need to get a mod plate/engineers certificate as its an after purchase add on. As for the suspension, the SLS in the 7 seaters is probobly to help keep the back end up to height when you have a couple of people of the "rounder" type in the back
