Its an enviro friendly coolant specifically designed for "life of engine" applications (20000hrs) by Cummins.

"Propylene glycol is non toxic and classified by the EPA as GRAS (generally regarded as safe). It is biodegradable and recyclable. Importantly, it can be disposed of in most on-site waste treatment systems whereas ethylene glycol needs to be removed from the site for disposal. "

On-site requirements have seen the initial use of the new coolant formulation in equipment ranging from Toyota Land Cruisers to mine haul trucks.

    See: http://www.cumminsengine.com.au/au/p.../20020301.html

You could contact Cummins Tamworth on Phone: [61-2] 6765 5455
Fax: [61-2] 6765 5443 & request a MSDS & ratio guide. I beleive it is used full strength - no dilution.

Let us know the outcomes if you wouldn't mind. PM me with qty & $s if you dont mind also.

    Cheers

Just got off the phone to Westrac CAT about the ELC coolant.
Aparently even on a 50/50 mix, this stuff is seriously strong and will remove any calcium etc that may be existing in the system.
All Cat engines run Viton seals in the cooling system so if you have any residue in the system or anything other than Viton, not a good idea aparently.
    Next stop, Detroit coolant......

    Cheers
