    Series seat / upholstery clips

I've just had a friendly upholsterer make me some new black vinyl covers for my 2A's front seats.
They make the old truck look very well looked after.

However, all the little metal clips that hold the fabric on are very rusty. Where do I get new ones? What other things can I use?
I'm planning to use a combination of these clip things and a staple gun to hold it all on.
Pics when I've finished the job.

Problem solved: I used these small metal "magic clips" from Officeworks to hold the fabric onto the metal frames of the seatbases.
    (only the silver ones though!)

I'll put pics up of the end result as soon as the job is finished!

I tried those magic clips on my 2a seats and they seemed to pop off, eventually I got some real ones from a wreck

    Upolstery Clips

    Alastair

I purchased from a car upolstery shop for my Series 3. They had an array of clips available in a catalogue. Would send the name but company no longer in existence. Though all good upolstery outlets should be able to track down.

    Cheers

Job is nearly finished: just waiting on the trimmer to finish the driver's seat. At least the passengers won't winge about the dodgy seats now.
