    Hi Ken,

I have used HM headers in the past, well made and shaped, they make a big bore primary version that I had, and they required only minimal die grinding to port match. I feel that 3" is a little too big, but it'll sound the goods

A system I had years ago was a twin 2" from the headers, into a twin 2" inlet single 2.5" outlet main muffler. The rear section was made/welded from donuts and tube, and was a work of art. Added a straight through glass packed resonator to lessen the drone and it sounded sooooo sweet.

    Have fun

I was thinking of using Genie extractors but not sure of how much they drop compared to the OE header and dump pipe I want to keep it all tucked up as high as possible
Basically I want a set of extractors with a y dump pipe and a single 2.5" or 3" single pipe running to a Single muffler at the back

I am looking at doing the same thing with my 3.9 in the future. HM were recommended to me as they had been proven on a dyno, whereas some other brands that were tried made no power gains at all. Am not sure what other brands were used though.

they might be relatively small but the 3.9 and 4.0 put out some gas! I had a new system from the flange connection back put on - 2.5inch pipe and straight through muff with a good resonator...and she is unbelievably loud. I am going to have to change the muffler because its getting too much attention including the crabs.

    Cheers

I can recommend putting on a Magnaflow muffler with 2.5" pipe from the y-pipes back and a little hot dog at the back. It sounds
