My experience was with a swb - I added a second skin (made it myself), and was very happy with the reduction in temperature. I was using it in inland North Queensland at the time.
I have not seriously considered adding one to my 110, as it seems to have reasonably good insulation inside the roof. I would like to add one to my 2a - but the cab needs a pressed tropical roof. If I ever come across one I will grab it.

well now i would be interested in swaping some parts for some rear side facing seats.tropical roof skin,,also have the steering wheel shaft box & relay & the rod that joins the box & relay all where working great before taken off to do power steering very little play in them ..door skins mite have some door frames aswell.the rear tail gait as i now have a 1 piece rear door..& i have heaps of large containers full of bits & pieces..just drop me a line if anyone is interested....oh & i will have a set of original free wheeling hubs as soon as i change them to the flanges cause i am a lazy bugger dont like having to get out & lock them in..so let me know what your after i mite just have it.....
