Question *** Disco ignition timing ***

Me again, just wondering if anyone here has a 3.9L S1 Disco on LPG and has experimented with advance settings for the ign timing,i think the factory spec is 2 degrees BTDC which in my experience seems rather retarded for a V8 engine!I am going to try mine at around 6 degrees BTDC (as long as it isn't pinging its **** off) will post the results after this weekend.

Im sure someone wiser than I will tell us the first thing with a Rover v8 is to ensure that TDC is TDC they are very often out.
I have run 2 engines like this without issue the performance difference between ULP and LPG seems to be minimal.
I just make sure that it doesnt ping on Petrol seems fine.
