I have been using Armorall on my cars plastic surfaces for many years. I was led to believe that it offered protection from UV on plastic surfaces.

There's another product from Simonize caled 'Back to Black'. This seems more of a silicone based product that gives the 'new plastic' smell & look. I don't know what protective properties it has though.

Ive used old brake fluid or rubber grease in the past tho an old pannell beater told me to try ATF tho you have to be persistant with it and it works greal just apply with a rag and wipe off excess :D:D

Old brake fluid that close to the paint work .... ffffttt - that sounds dangerous to me:eek:
