Rovers seem to be a bit heavier on the drivers side due to offset drivelines/engines etc. You'll see pretty regularly a DS that is 2" lower than the PS. Anyway, the DS springs are longer. Some companies lable the spring DS and PS also.

Well with the help and guidance of Defute the rear springs in my ute are now progressive rather than the super heavy duty King Springs that were in there. It's a bit of a revelation - apparently the driver's spine DOESN'T have to do all the shock absorbing on speedbumps. Technology, eh !
