    vehicle : 1993 Range Rover

Problem : When it is raining there is a water drip, drivers side over the clutch pedal.

Has anyone any ideas where this could be coming from , please?

I had the same on my daughter's. Actually it was more like a stream. SO when I got to Derby, with the help of KhunMoo, I found the water was coiming through the windscreen wiper mounting plate seal.

I pulled it out and found there had been a previous attempt at sealing it. So I cleaned up all the sealant that had gone hard and brittle, and resealed it with silicone. I had to remove the wiper motor and the large plate that covers the huge hole (same as the air intake on the passenger's side).

It sounds a big job but it isn't. It took no more than a couple of hours and a few beers (thanks KhunMoo).

Stick your head under the dash while someone plays water over the area of the wiper motor plate.

Now ask about all the other places they leak.

Oh, I just noticed yours is a '93. my daughter's is a '95 (different dash - dunno about under the windscreen area).

Have you read the LR Tech Service Bulletin on D1 leaks? It goes for a few pages.
