    Talking steering

hey jezz i used a toyota landcruizer 60 serries.i notched the front crossmember drilled the holes put in the crush tubes then welded 2 6mm plates on bothsides of chassis then filled in the notch but left enuff for the 2 front bolts.i also used the steering shaft off the same croozer.the steering colum is out of a 78 2door rangie with a bracket bolted to the firewall steady.i then got the knuckel off the same rangie & welded it to the toyota shaft..the drag link is thick wall tubing taped to suit the landrover at the wheel & toyota at the box..the steering shaft has still got to have a traverse hardning test & exray for the engineer..its quiet easy i cant belive everyone isnt doing it...
