Shocks bottoming out as the bumpstop needed to be 2 inches lower also and you needed spring retainers to keep the spring in on full droop....
All you do is move the travel 2" lower, you dont gain anything...
And the good old Scrap iron racing drop mounts showed their true colours when i cracked one of them....
So i junked them and went back to Std.
Get Longer shocks and listen to the experts..... Scorpion are not experts, just copy cats.

Similar thing with the TLC 80 series fronts, but at least most worked out the towers needed raising otherwise they went metal to metal. I didn't lift the towers enough, trying to maximise droop and duidn't allow for how much the bump stops actually do compress and wrecked two sets of Koni's internally. At least I could re-build them, so it didn't cost too much, more time than anything.

I just rang frogisland4x4. I was given 130GBP per shocker for the Raids. That's $285 ea. They don't have them in stock, I got put through to parts who confirmed the website was out of date, but couldn't confirm the price. When they get back to me with a FIRM price, I'll let you know.

20mm is about right for the front - it willl bottom a lot more often than the rears on impacts, probably too conservative for the rear unless springs are super softQuote:

KONI were also able to do the 80 Series front springs, but their price was $660. They were also able to do an 88 series LC shocker, which is a wider bore (55mm outer / 36mm inner) for $863 pr. Given I could get the Raids out of South Australia for $480ea, I may as well have got Raids over the 88 Series, but both were too expensive.

420 is the heaviest spring they make. Super heavy duty.
So empty, its probably the shock limiting the lift!

My standard fender breaks them. I think it's the angle of the pin. The answer may be to leave the bush a little loose.
