most common problem would be the sender unit crapping out, have you tried earthing the sender wire to the engine block to see if the gauge moves?
G'day all. I'm having trouble with my temperature gauge in my 85 Rangie. Instead of buggering around with it I've brought an electrical aftermarket gauge that i'd like to install. Anyone have any idea where I can get an adapter to suit the new sensor?
Also I guess i should try and work out what is actually wrong with the original gauge. I've heard most of the time its the circuit board getting little breaks in it which stops the power flow? This correct? What are some other common faults which could lead me to why it isn't working?
Cheers
