No. Ralph - formerly from LROCB twisted a rear (he lives on a remote Island and doesn't do internet) on a S1/RR hybrid with a 4.4V8 and 33's. Glen (used to be on the forums as V8Grunt) snapped an old rear with a 4.7 centre!!! I think he only had a holden 6 at that stage - the ford V8 came later.
Did you twist one or snap one? Front or rear?
Best I have managed was a 24-spline non genuine rear - and countless 10-spliners.
G'day (?) mate,
of course you get what you pay for :whistling:
A couple of Qs referring to your old material list:
-with yeld strenght did you generally mean torsional strenght?
As I was trying to find the Italian term but got lost in several different meanings and I don't have a technical dictionary...not yet!:)
-can you confirm EN26(?) for the JacMac axles?
[OT]When's your flight exactly?[/OT]

If it helps, it is Fließfestigkeit in German! :D
Yield strength is generally measured as tensile (stretching) stress. Twisting (torsional stress) is equivalent to shear force - about 2/3 of the tensile value...
Clear as mud???
Not sure what Jacmac shafts are made of.
Flight is in about 36 hrs - don't think I will be gettingf much sleep between then and now.
