I also heard the same that they are really good tanks, so out of the 155L
you have a 120L and a 35L?
so what you're saying the design issue only applies to the fender 130 with regards to the Long Ranger not being able to pick up the extra 8-10 litres ? will this be the case with the Disco?
I would think the 130 and 110 are the same for the tanks. The most I have put in is 145 liters but I don't run mine right down.Quote:

There is also an auxillery tank available for the Disco II that sits in the rear side panel. I think it only holds 20lt of so. This is plumbed into the main tank and doesn't need an additional transfer pump.If you can get it mounted high enough then it will drain out empty into the main tank.
Why not sill tanks? They hold around 50-60litres per side and don't have the huge overhang thats associated with the Long Ranger replacement tanks. The load is equally spread in between the axles too.
The drawback with sill tanks is the slow filling speed at the pumps and awkward access to the filler cap.

Funny you say that, one of the things i like best about the long ranger is that you don't lose any clearence or departure angle, they even use the original sender unit so your fuel gauge reads as per normal, just takes longer to go down.Quote:
