Suspension Air Bags and the like

Tomorrow I'm tweeking up some parts on the Disco so that I can move forward with the supprised 5" lift why supprised well I only wanted 4

I'm adding shims and aluminuim blocks under my rear spring seat to adjust the levelling issue since I gave up waiting for Dobbinson to rectify the problem

Im cuting the front cross member and placing a curve on the side where the front drive shaft is to make clearence

Im making some front top spring retainers as I did for the rear with exhaust clamps

Im placing the rear shocks up front as there 275/80 and the front ones are being revalved to 360/80 or 400/100 uncertian yet

but the big question is Do airbags limit articulation at all if not might slot a set of those in to

    Do you mean polyairs?

Mine still flexs well with polyairs. When not in use you drop most of the pressure out of them anyway.... in my case I drop all of the air out of them.

IF the pressure is up in them then they will restrict compression of the suspension.
    Cheers

I drop my polyairs down to about 2 psi , not completely flat ,when offroading but if you're installing them yourself just be aware that depending on the springs you're running the internal diameter of the coils may be slightly too small for the Rubber mouts top and bottom and they don't sit in properly , I had this issues with the OME springs previously and took the car to pedders and they shaved off around the edges of the Rubber feet to make it sit inside the top and bottom of the Coils nice and straight ,but generally it should be a straight fit.
