    EAS to Coils

Ok can someone please tell me in n00b terminology exactly what is need to convert an EAS equiped (94 rangie) to coils. And what sort of $$$.

Be good if someone who has done it can chime in with there thoughts.

I search but I must suck at it cause I can't find anything that answers my curiousity simply enough

    Cheers

I've not done eas to coil - but I have done coil to eas......
you will need the spring seats top and bottom and the coils. I assume you have A RR classic - There is a bit of work to remove all the electrical gear (if you want to) but the main thing is that the eas ecu and compressor is disconected. $ depends on how much you want to be ripped... I've heard of LR dealer charging $1500 to do the rear of a Disco 2 . Give the guys at British Off Road (Sunny Coast) a call they would have a lot second hand bits if you want to keep the cost down.

Agree! get it fixed by some one who actually has a clue, they are rare but do exist.

If its just a matter of the spring seats etc etc I have all the above.
I will be removing the entire EAS ECU as I will be on selling it to cover the cost of other items.

This vehicle will be fitted with a 4" spring lift and 37" tyres. EAS is not in my build list AT ALL! \

p.s. thanks for the links, much appreciated. Off to the GCLRO meeting now will have alot of reading to do tommorow
