Castrol Response is what I use in my mountainbike disc brakes. Cheapest place I found it was Kmart at about $NZ7 for half a litre.

There are two Resonse brake fluids.
Response, and Response Super Dot 4 . The Response Super has a higher BP, different viscosity and was developed for BMW and Porsche for high performance ABS systems.
I've always used it in the Defender.
Castrol SRF is the brake fluid all others are judged by. It was over ten years ago now when I was racing, but back then ALL the Touring Car teams used SRF.
you're game.
I'll never use a silicone fluid in any of my vehicles (or mtb) as I like to have a consistent pedal.
Silicon brake fluids are compressible and they foam, not the ideal situation. No one in motorsport use a silicon fluid for very good reasons. (the base of Castrol SRF is different, it's a silicon ester and virtually incompressible)
