ok just took the passenger seat out and disconnect the main battery to get ready for connecting the charger (gotta go to Mum's to pick up the charger - it's in the camper trailer).
Whilst I was there I thought I'd check the voltages with a multi-meter.
Main battery: 3.83
Aux battery: 12.28
Something is seriously shagged. :(
Well here's hoping I can charge the main battery :BigThumb: at least enough for me to get her to the auto sparkies :cool:

ok believe it or not the battery appears ok.
Got her charged up and drove her to the auto-sparkie today (made sure the battery was disconnected before charging).
They replaced the alternator with a 100amp MXA 831 and did a load test on the battery - all good.
Thank you everyone on here for your tips and tricks throughout the years, I went to the auto sparkie armed with lots of information on how to uprate the alternator and which alternators to look for :BigThumb:
