Hi Everyone,
I have recently picked up a Petrol 2000 Discovery and I am looking to convert it to gas.
I have spoken with Robert Hughes in Canberra and they have suggested:
- ELKO gas injection kit
- 65l (usable) APA manifold gas tank in the rear load space (loss of 25cm)
Does anyone have any experience/knowledge surrounding this setup. The ELKO computer does not retain the tuning settings if the battery is disconnected, although I am not too concerned about this due to having a dual battery setup.
I would prefer the tanks to be mounted under the body if anyone has any ideas here. My vehicle has coils all round and no ACE so there may be space but a loss of ground clearance?
Further advice regarding recomended fitters in the Canberra area would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Duncan.

Can't help on Elko, mine has a KME sequential vapour injection system. No loss of power on change to LPG - I can't detect any difference at all.
