I bought a complete Rover type centre in very good condition from Grubb in Melbourne and all up with freight it only cost $170.00, so my costs and effort were minimal. Is the D2 rear a Rover type? I would be looking for a complete good used centre and do a swap. Replacing the rear centre is a lot easier than the front.

Well, Disco is in with ARB for a rear locker, figured now is the time to bite the bullet seeing as the diff needs to be repaired anyhow. I am nervously awaiting the phonecall that tells me what they find wrong. If the Crown Wheel and Pinion are damaged then i'm up for a few dollars:eek:

Try a wrecker. You should be able to get the whole diff for a reasonable sum.Quote:
