I fitted the hoses last night. They were quite tight as the hose was not as flexible as the old ones and in such tight spaces it was a bit of a pain.
Especially when I realised I had lost some of the rubber o'rings for the connection points.
Fortunately I located the missing o'ring under the car in daylight so could finish.
Does anyone know what size/thickness these o'rings are? I had to use the old ones but would like to get some new ones just in case?

can't remember the size off hand, but make sure you get them in Viton (flurocarbon elastomer), not standard Nitrile/Buna-N.
It has a higher temp rating.

Vac Pump leaks, Oil Switch leaks and the Oil line fittings leak...
Those are the probs i has
Vac Pump, Pull it out and fix it...
Oil Switch... Replace...
Oil line... remove, clean, refit...
Try putting a spanner on the fittings on the side of the engine, they have come loose on mine once on the climb out of Tobacco flat towards Fry's.
Lost about 5 ltrs of oil in 20 seconds when the line came off but it could just be a little bit loose.

Well I just got back for Tootgarook Forest (I think that's how its spelt) anyway is 18km out from Yea Victoria.
The car was fantastic. It just keeps impressing me it how it handles what's thrown at it.
Was nearly shown up in a bog hole but I don't have mud tyres or 33". It took 5 goes but I didn't what to flog it.
Anyway back to topic, what I did find on this trips was that a new leak developed on the lower oil cooler line near the radiator. I am confident that it is because I re-used the o'rings, they looked a little squashed, as you would expect as they form the shape of the fitting. I didn't have time to get them before this trip so will now.
At least the leak is not coming from the pressure fitting. The Pirtek product looks very good and should not leak ever.
I have cleaned around the vacuum pump and the switch just to see if any leaks are there.
Thanks Clarky for the tips. I would not have thought of looking at the oil pressure switch.
I pulled off the lower oil cooler line and found the o'ring was crushed on one side. I have been told you can re-use the o'rings if you flip them around. In a pinch I would do that but have ordered in some spares for next time.
Replaced the o'ring from the oil cooler connector and took it for a 30 minute spin no leaks so far so it looks like this problem is fixed.
