Have you checked that the housing is actually grabbign the seal body properly and that the shaft is not scored.
hi mate, yeah the housing was fine and the seal fits snug as, and the shaft isnt scored at all that was the first thing i inspected. MattQuote:

What was it in the end or is it still a problem. Mine needs a new clutch soon (throw out bearing noises) and I plan to tackle similar leaks on the transfer case then.
