    Brakes on RRC

Just wondering if anyone here knows much about brake master cylinders and boosters??

Ive fitted nissan and toyo diffs on my rangie and brakes have never been too flash.. very spongy. The engineer just plugged up one of the outlets because my brakes now only use single lines

so has 2 coming from 1st pump and 1 from 2nd pump

would making a t-piece on second to 1 line do anything?

Has brand new discs and pads allround aswell

    Cheers

    What the heck?

You should have split circuits for safety reasons.

I think you need to reinstate the other brake lines as per the original RR set-up.

Nope twin cct calipers on classic RR's, not on Nissan

Use a Y60 (GQ) booster and master cylinder

Ahh, of course. Front calipers are twin circuit, rear are single.

I don't have diagrams in front of me and maybe my thinking is wrong -- but.....

Wouldn't the amount of fluid displaced through that line by the master cylinder be only sufficient for one brake caliper? Therefore, would there be enough fluid for two calipers?

Then there is the issue of how much fluid is required for a Nissan calliper vs a LR caliper.

I'm no brake expert so I have no idea.

Secondary pistons ONLY worked at approx. half travel as an AUXILLARY system
