    Coolant Flush method

Hey everyone iam wondering if someone could explain the correct way to properly flush the Coolant out of my td5 so i can refill the system with OAT coolant... the Rave Cd said to take the bottom hose off to flush the system...but some of my work mates think i should
drain the coolant through the bottom rad hose then put the bottom rad hose back on.
remove the thermostat and top rad hose
and flush the system through the header tank with the engine running..... they said flushing out the top rad hose not the bottom will enable the clean water to go through the engine..not just the radiator....
Would love to hear how ppl do it ??

    Thanks
    Regards Adrian

I took every hose off of the system and then flushed each section individually with tap water and then with distilled water. But we have a section at work that as a by product of what they do produces distilled water.

then I premixed the coolant and lobbed it in.

Of course I did that because I was doing the precautionary replacement of all hoses.
