you can get cheap chineese ones for $30'ish but I wouldnt put one one unless It was all I could get, was desperate and the devil wasnt around to come up with some kind of a deal..
off the top $50 is about right for the smaller ones that the rovers run.
wouldnt know about dayco, never bought one for big red which is the first serpentined rover Ive owned.
the cheap crap ones are easy to spot if you turn the belt ribs out and lay them over your wrist and pull down you'll see the backing fabric through the wafer thin bit of rubber that makes up the valleys of the V's and have lots of small fraying bits hanging out the sides where the better belts have the threads turned over like the edge of string on a new reel..
I bought my last one from Newcastle 4x4 spares for $34.95 and the Disco which is a v8 was $55.Most bearing, seal etc place's have them or I ordered them through work as Cat dozers have them as A/C belts.I have tried the no name ones and they lasted just as long and I carry a spare under the back seat.
