Defender Wiper Control
For a while I have had to pull out the switch connector to stop the wipers on my '97 build Defender. Instead of the apparently more common problems with components made by Joseph Lucas that won't go, they won't stop when switch is in the off position.
After doing some cleaning of contacts in the switch and wiper motor, doubt they are the problem. What, if any other electrickery is there in the circuit? I haven't got a non confusing wiring diagram. Or any other suggestions what the problem might be and how to fix it.

Mine a 1994 defender 130 is doing the same thing.
I havent had time to chase the problem.
I disconnect mine via the wiper control module in the fuse area.
To save mucking around tracing the wiring has any one found the problem.
