    Reliable and affordable Diff inspection and Repair in Sydney?

    Hi,

    Does anybody know of a reliable and affordable place to have my 1994 Defender's front and rear center diff inspected and bearings replaced if needed. I have already removed it. Also looking for someone to have a look at my rotors and press-fit some bearings.

    I'm new to the Sydney area and was wondering whether someone could point me in the right direction. Any idea as to what something like this would cost?

    I know of a bloke in Hornsby who is currently doing my 4.11 Diffs and new Bearings he was recommended to me by my next door neighbour who is a mechanic, all he does is Diffs. let me know if you want his details.

    Also with respect to bearings I can get you Top quality bearings at mates rates , let me know what you need and I'll get a Pricing for you.

    What about British and Swedish up your way or Ayre Automotive. Both are LR specialists.

    Yeah, I would have though Mal from British and Swedish also. A great fella and a definate enthusiast. He also comps a great 5l V8 rangie!

    as a side note, there is good and bad for diff repairs in the Hornsby area. Check with Tusker as I believe he has them sussed out.

    Thanks to all,much appreciated. Is British ans Swedish well priced? What is indicative costing for diff inspection and bearings pressing? Just a ball park figure.
