    Provent in TD5 Disco 2

OK today i installed the Provent, it's not connected (forgot to get the hoses) but, it's in place and for those that have their second battery next to the Turbo, this is probably the best place for it.

The brackets were a bugger, not only was i doing it in the rain, (i don't have any cover and the Disco won't fit in the garage)but i managed to do it by bending them installing then taking out and bending until i got it right

I put the connector on the Turbo drain pipe as per Isuzurovers install.
I will put this on soon as it stops bloody raining

Once i get the hoses i can finish the job.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

Great work Baz! Thanks for posting this up!

If it fits on a disco with dual batteries and ABS it would fit anything!!!

Thanks Ben, it's a very snug fit, with just millimetres in it.

OK, this is an update on the Provent installation (really sorry Ben)

I finally got in in and connected, this install went a little easier, but i had too make new brackets as the Provent was sitting too low, i also had too move the one way valve further down towards the turbo drain pipe, so i could get more bend and have it going downwards a little more, as it is it isn't quite going down, it still has a little up hill section, so it won't drain as well but will still be enough i think.

So here it is finally, i think it may be a bit high, but i'll adjust that

The U pipe is from a washing machine

Hose too the Turbo drain pipe

Sorry about the delay Ben, i just got tied up with stuff and really could not get it right on the few occasion i tried to fit, i was almost going too not install it, but i couldn't give up.

No leaks after an hour and a half of driving too work and home, so all good so far.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

Thanks Ben, the biggest problem is space in the Disco II, especially if you have the auxcillary battery next too the turbo.

    Provent Bracket

Has anyone fitted one of these in the space where the aux battery is located? If so what sort of bracket have you designed?
