    4" shocks & 2" springs

    Okay a quick question.

Looking at those 4" lift shocks Philco is selling in The Verandah.

How will these work in my 110 with 2" springs retained top and bottom? Will they work?

    Cheers

Looking at the thread they should work fine. You may have to fit extended bump stops at the outside.

By having your springs retained you are also using more than just the shock absorbers to support the axle if you lift a wheel.

gee a topic like this and its only got 2 reply's!!! all the webwheelers must be busy
what peter said is correct. bumpstops required, retained springs (sorta defeats the purpose of the 4'' shocks with the 2'' springs) or dare i say............................................... ..........DISLOCATION CONES!!!!!

(now that ive mentioned the ''d'' word this post is bound to go 40 pages)

just be carefull with the rear top shock mount, the longer the shock the more pressure there is on the top eye, ie bushes flogg out often and dont be supprised if the shock eye snaps off.
i changed my top mounts to pin to combat this.

    cheers phil
