    Discovery seats help

    Hi, is anyone aware of whether a set of front and rear seats for a 97 Discovery will fit straight into a 93 Discovery.

    My seats are a bit average looking and I have bought a set off a 97 and plan on getting them re-upholstered before fitting them. It's dark every morning and evening and I haven't had a chance to check out the fitttings yet.

    Hi, I am pretty sure the front seats will NOT fit. The floor pan mounts are different and even if you use your original bases the width of the slide rail is different. Changed around the MA VIN. Don't know about the rear seats. Cheers, Erich.

    Hi, as Erich said the front seat bases are different, also in a 93 the front seat sash belt lower mounting point is on the floor beside the B pillar, from memory in a 97 it is on the seat base. I think 1994 and 1995 front seats have the narrower base and will fit straight in. The 1997 rear seats should fit.
