Well ARB, true to their word, rebuilt the LTR with a new seal kit and got it back to me the same week as promised.
They did damage some of the stickers on it, presumably in the clamp used to undo it but I could live with that.
Anyway, I refitted it, and all seemed good. Anyone want to guess how long it lasted prior to starting to leak oil again........
maybe I should start a poll! ;)
a whole 25km.....
So will pop back in again later.
I still cant see where it is leaking from. It deosn't appear to be any of teh fittings or where the eye is welded onto the top of the casing.
Pete.

Don't take it off this time. Tell them you have had multiple problems with the shock and you need them to fix it. There is obviously a problem with the shock and you would like them to fit a brand new one and to send the other one down to their shock builders for a report. They advertise they are selling a top quality product so you should expect top quality service. The R&D department at old man emu can use the data they get from the shock to improve future designs or discard it as a one off.
