50 000ks on the complete set in the S1 disco i had, still in it when i sold it and 30 000 on the ones in my defender. and flex limiting is a wives tale!

Been through this before in both Jaguar and land Rover.
If you want a "harsh ride", buy the plastic.
If you want "shock absorption" replace the rubber.

I even put genuine "style" windscreen rubbers back in, instead of after market rubbish. It stops the "flop, flop, flop".

A Jaguar without "rubbers" will ride like a Land Rover, a Land Rover without rubbers will ride like a Nissan :D

Well good for you, when mine flogged out in 6 months to remove them i had to cut the suspension bolts with an oxy to get them out, they had rusted and seized solid- say what you will i aint going back down that road again.
